Welcome to Fluid Artz. My name is Tanya and I would like to tell you a little about myself and how I came to be an artist. I'm 51 years old and I've been painting for a little over a year, now. My journey to become an artist has been long and winding. I was born in Wisconsin but spent my formative years in Georgia. My family and I moved to North Carolina when I was 14. I've lived in NC ever since. I have 3 beautiful children and 2 grandchildren whom I love unconditionally. As a young girl I was fascinated with arts and crafts. I would draw and paint and dream of "one day". My "one day" was a long time coming. Life has a way of making different dreams take precedent, so I became a wife and mother. My desire to create was never diminished, but channeled into creating a home and guiding my children as they grew. They are living their lives now and I, I am chasing my dreams. I hope that you'll take a journey with me, a journey of the heart. Each painting is a piece of mine that I want to share with you. If I can reach one person's heart through my work then I'll know that I am realizing my "one day" dream. I hope that you will enjoy my artwork as much as I do.
